Concrete and structural repair
Site investigation found that a structural beam had developed concrete cancer and exposed rebar.
Through the removal of loose concrete and further grinding, the areas were prepared, cleaned and treated the steel with corrosion protective primers and patched with a high strength structural mortar. Some areas required pouring of structural concrete of up to 200mm.
All the works completed were in accordance with a detailed Engineering specification.
